Born and brought up in London, Amy Jenkins went to Westminster and University College London where she read law. As the creator of THIS LIFE, she has won fans in the millions. Her other credits include: TUBE TALES, BLINK, a short film for Channel 4 films and ELEPHANT JUICE, her first feature shot by Miramax.

Her first novel, HONEYMOON, was published in May, 2000 to huge media coverage. HONEYMOON has the sharp, cutting-edge conversations and jokes of THIS LIFE and a freshness of voice that raises it above the plethora of "singles" books being launched this year. A prime time documentary has been filmed for BBC2, all about Amy Jenkins and the writing of her first novel, was broadcast in July. Film rights to HONEYMOON have been sold to Columbia Pictures.
